Ideas and Deadlines

Why is it that when I should be hard at work on my current series project, new fresh ideas start beating at me? I have a book due in two weeks and then another right after that so really, I have plenty to do.

But in the last week I have brainstormed two new series. A Southern paranormal and an international action/adventure.

The southern series will actually be set in Savannah and now I just need to convince Lissa to go to Savannah with me to take ghost tours. (its been a while since i have been to savannah and i need a refresher)

I will actually be writing an introductory novella to this series this month, which puts me on the hunt for a good chocolatier. (part of the story which is still a secret. lol which is code for I dont know what the hell i’m doing yet)

HaHa, just kidding. I am not writing a weird Willy Wonkaesque book. But hey that sounds like…

No, No stop distracting me.

A second series that is under consideration is an international action/adventure series based on an elite group of kick ass women and the men they fall for.

This idea was inspired by my two month visit to Venezuela a long time ago where we chartered a small plane and flew by and around the Angel Falls. Those Falls make incredible inspiration and none of the pictures do them justice.

In the meantime I am supposed to be paying attention to those delicious witches I cooked up last year. Book 2 in the Pentacles of Magick series debuted today. Woohoo! And Book 3 and 4 will follow in the fall.

Another crazy peek into my chaotic brain. Yea, it scares me too.

Love is Beautiful

Love is a foolish game? Just like what Oscar Wilde said, “Life is one fool thing after another where as love is two fool things after each other.” To me, love has always been beautiful and will always be beautiful. I have people telling me that they do not want to get into love again because it hurts too much and they [...]

An Inspiring Dance

This is a truly amazing video sent to me by a friend. What could a guy who lost one leg while still a child and a girl who lost her arm in a car accident do? After watching them, I would say almost anything! Their disabilities did not stop them from dancing. Through this inspiring dance, they not only shown strength, but also shown great [...]

When It becomes too Late …

I do not really like this story but I am sharing with you because it can serve as a lesson for all of us. The moral of the story is similar to the other story, “A Special Date” which I shared with you the other day - that certain things cannot be put off till tomorrow. If you love someone, let them know today that you love them [...]

Wordless Wednesday: Leopard Flower

More Wordless Wednesday This was taken with Sony Ericsson Cyber-shot Camera Phone in the Singapore HortPark, marked as Leopard Flower and origin from China. In Wikipedia, it was stated that it is used in Chinese villages for its medicinal values. The first thing I saw in the car park of HortPark was this beautiful flower. And there were [...]
